BOBBIN LACE
Learn the techniques of this craft that dates back to the 16th Century.
Suitable for beginners or those wishing to increase their knowledge
of this attractive craft adapted to today’s modern living.

DRAWING
Take what you see, mix it with what you think, put it down with what you have. Result? Interesting drawings made in an encouraging, friendly atmosphere. Object drawing, still life, figures and outdoor work, using a variety of mediums.
Suitable for all levels including beginners.

CARD MAKING (NEW)

Learn to paint on wooden objects, fabric, glass and other surfaces in a fun and structured approach. Learn modern decorative styles, australiana and traditional styles of painting. See the display at the centre for ideas, and unleash your creativitiy! A starter kit including paints and brushes is available from the tutor or you can buy your own.

WATERCOLOUR

INTRODUCTION TO WATERCOLOUR
An introductory two part course for beginners or those with a little knowledge.
Part 1 introduces you to the basic techniques of watercolour and the equipment and materials used. Part 2 covers composition and picture making along with further exercises to enable students to advance their knowledge. This course will not run again in 2009, but may run in 2010.

A working group providing an exchange of patchwork and quilting ideas.
Must have some knowledge of patchwork. Group meets weekly.
Thursdays 1.00pm - 3.00pm

SPINNERS AND KNITTERS GROUP
Meet 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month
At 1.00pm
$2 per session

ENROLMENT INFORMATION

GST: All class fees are inclusive of GST.

TERMS COMMENCE:
Term 3 starts Monday 13 or 20 July 2009, dependant on course length.
Term 4 starts Monday 5 or 12 October 2009, dependant on course length.
Please check start dates with the centre when booking.

ENROLMENTS may be made in person or by phone. If booking by phone please have your credit card ready. (Visa, Mastercard only). Any enrolments which are not paid for within 3 working days of booking will automatically lapse.

COURSES MAY BE CANCELLED if there are insufficient bookings to make the class viable, in which case the course fee will be refunded.

REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS CANNOT BE MADE AFTER A COURSE HAS COMMENCED. Withdrawals from a course within 7 days prior to the commencement of the course will be subject to a $15.00 cancellation fee.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP of the Centre is required by all Centre users. Membership is $5.50 (adult) and $3.00 (children) GST inclusive and is valid to 31 December 2009.
