About the movie: ‘Manon Des Courses’ (1986): The sequel to Claude Berri’s ‘Jean de Florette’. Manon (Emmanuelle Beart), now fully grown, is a shepherdess who prefers to keep her distance from the local villagers. She is determined to uncover the truth behind the death of her father and to wreak vengeance on the men she holds responsible.

A different foreign film is held at 7pm on the first Wednesday of every month with everyone welcome to attend. The film is shown in the Copland Room followed by a discussion with light refreshments. Cost is only $10 each film night. You need to be a current member of the Centre (annual membership is $10).
