Volunteering

Volunteer workers are the lifeblood of organisations like ours; the day-to-day operations of the Centre could not be managed without their considerable involvement. Our limited resources mean we depend on volunteers to assist and support the provision and expansion of our services. We rely on our volunteer’s help to co-ordinate our groups and keep costs low for various workshops, activities and events. Volunteer positions range from Connect group co-ordinators, office and reception assistants and members who volunteer their time at events.

We had over 20 volunteers work at the Centre during the year as well as our event volunteers and our committee members. The sum of the individuals working together is incredibly inspiring and an important expression of community spirit.
