The Council generously supports all 11 Neighbourhood Houses in Boroondara and provides works closely with all houses to offer services, programs and activities that respond to community needs. With the adoption of the Council’s Boroondara Community Plan 2021-2031, they have developed the Boroondara Neighbourhood Houses Framework to articulate how Council and neighbourhood houses will work together to deliver on strategies under Theme 1 Community, Services and Facilities. Bendigo Bank – Inner East Community Community Investment Program

In 2025, Our Centre was the recipient of $19,088 from Community Bank Inner East as part of their Neighbourhood Centre’s Pilot Program. Inner East Community Finance Limited (IECF) is a partnership between the local community and four branches of Bendigo Bank including our own Bendigo Bank branch here in High Street Ashburton.
