Major Supporters

Ashburton Community Centre is proud to be supported by a range of valued partners, including government, community organisations, and local businesses. Their contributions enable us to provide inclusive programs, welcoming spaces, and services that respond to the needs of our community. While no single source meets all of the Centre’s needs, together with the generous support of our partners, we are able to continue delivering essential services and work towards long-term financial sustainability.

City of Boroondara

We gratefully acknowledge the support of the City of Boroondara, who provide triennial funding on a long term basis, the beautiful building from which ACC operates, and additional project support through a submission process.

The City of Boroondara supports all 11 Neighbourhood Houses across the municipality and works closely with each to deliver services, programs, and activities that reflect local community needs. Through the Boroondara Community Plan 2021–2031 and the Neighbourhood Houses Framework, Council and neighbourhood houses work in partnership to strengthen community, services, and facilities across Boroondara.

To find out more about the neighbourhood houses across Boroondara please visit the City of Boroondara website.

Bendigo Bank, Inner East Community Finance Ltd

Over a number of years, the local Bendigo Bank (a branch of the Inner East Community Finance Ltd) has supported our Community Centre with small valuable projects including seed funding for the Ashy Eco Hub and the provision of a commercial dishwasher to support the Centre’s Devonshire Tea fundraising activities.

In 2025, Ashburton Community Centre was deeply grateful to receive $19,088 through the Inner East Community Investment Program as part of the Neighbourhood Centres Pilot Program.  This funding has enabled our Centre to increase its administration support by 20% which is vital for our vibrant growing Centre.

We sincerely thank Bendigo Bank IECF for their support of our Centre. To learn more about IECF, visit www.iecf.com.au.

Looking for a Home Loan and wanting to support your community?*

When a community member takes out a home loan with Bendigo Bank (over $250,000) and nominates the Ashburton Community Centre, a $2,000 donation is directed to the Centre to provide community activities and supports.

While the Ashburton Community Centre does not provide financial advice or endorse specific providers, we encourage you to consider banking with a community-minded organisation.
