Death Cafe

Join experienced funeral celebrants Barb and Patricia for a relaxed, respectful, and open conversation about something we all share: the end of life.

What’s it all about?
Our Death Cafe is part of an international initiative and is a gentle gathering for anyone curious or contemplative about death – whether it’s your own, someone you’ve loved, or just the big idea itself. We believe that talking about death can be empowering, comforting, and even life-affirming. It’s a part of living, so why not face it together in a safe and welcoming space.

What to Expect:

  • A casual, non-judgmental environment
  • Warm drinks and sweet treats
  • No agenda, no pressure—just open conversation
  • A chance to listen, share, or simply reflect

Please note, this is not a counselling or support group. If you’re currently grieving or in distress, we kindly encourage you to seek professional support.

When? The 2nd Tuesday of the month, 1.30pm – 3.30pm.

Dates for 2026: February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10 & December 8
