Volunteer Role: Copywriter

We are seeking a copy writer to help us improve our promotion of the range of activities and classes that we offer to the local community. Days and times are flexible.

Tasks / Responsibilities

• Talking with instructors and tutors to understand what their classes and courses entail
• Visiting and sitting in on classes to experience how different classes run
• Write class descriptors and blurbs to be used for
  • Print media e.g. brochures and fliers
  • Social media
  • Website
  • Poster based promotional material

Skills / Experience

• Basic computer skills e.g. Word, Excel
• Copywriting
• Warm friendly manner – happy to talk with people
• A “can do” approach
